Our Origins

The story of Pentacar began in 1976 from the passion of brothers Angelo and Alfiero Melli for the world of racing. In 1981, that passion became a profession with the founding of Pentacar dei F.lli Melli, originally based in Via Nazionale, Colico. Over the years, the business grew and moved to its new headquarters in the industrial area, where the founders began restoring and preparing Porsche vehicles for both road use and competition.
Precision, experience, and dedication have made Pentacar a benchmark for Porsche enthusiasts — a workshop that perfectly combines craftsmanship and performance.

Tradition in Evolution

Today, Pentacar is a modern company led by Riccardo and Enrico Melli, sons of Alfiero, who carry forward the family passion with enthusiasm and expertise. Emma, daughter of Angelo, shares the same racing spirit and takes part in national and international competitions.
In 2018, the company completely renovated its headquarters under the supervision of Maurizio Pagella, creating functional spaces and integrating cutting-edge technologies.
Thus, Pentacar continues to evolve while preserving the tradition that has distinguished it for over forty years.
